“ನಾವು” ಎಂದರೆ ಯಾರು?

ಜಾಗೃತ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು:

ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದು ಕೆಲವು ನಾಯಕರ ಹೋರಾಟದಿಂದ ಇರಬಹುದು, ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ಅನಾಮಧೇಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಸಣ್ಣ ಸಣ್ಣ ಸರಿಹಾದಿಯ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳಿಂದ.

ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಗಳು: ನಮ್ಮ ಪರಂಪರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಆಧುನಿಕತೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಮರುಜೀವಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲಿದೆ.

ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ವಿಶ್ಲೇಷಣೆ: ಇಂದು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಲಭ್ಯವಿದೆ (Information overload), ಆದರೆ ‘ವಿವೇಕ’ (Wisdom) ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಳ್ಳಿನ ನಡುವಿನ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸ ತಿಳಿಯುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೊದಲ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ.
ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಜಾಗೃತಿ: ದೇಶದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಮೊದಲು, ನಮ್ಮ ವಾರ್ಡ್, ನಮ್ಮ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಅಥವಾ ನಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಸರದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಧ್ವನಿ ಎತ್ತುವುದು ನಿಜವಾದ ಜಾಗೃತಿಯ ಆರಂಭ.

ಯಾವುದೇ ದೇಶದ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅಥವಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯು ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಜನರ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
ನಾವು ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಣ್ಣ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲೂ ವಿರೋಧಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ, ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕತೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದು ಭ್ರಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ನೈತಿಕ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ: ಆಮಿಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗದೆ, ಸರಿ-ತಪ್ಪುಗಳ ತಕ್ಕಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಲೋಚಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯೇ ನಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾದ ‘ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ’ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ.

ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸುವ ಮನೋಭಾವ: ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ “ಏಕೆ?” ಮತ್ತು “ಹೇಗೆ?” ಎಂಬ ಕುತೂಹಲವನ್ನು ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿಡುವುದು ನಾಳೆಯ ಸದೃಢ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಅಡಿಪಾಯ.
